Meet CCPC's Summer Interns

We would like to shine the spotlight on CCPC's summer interns, Amy Zimmerman and Erin Luchetti!

Amy

Amy has spent most of her summer internship working with CCPC's Sustainability Division. She's contributed valuable work to support the Climate Action Plan Update by writing and analyzing surveys, as well as gathering inventory information on county-related greenhouse gas emissions.

Originally from Glen Rock, NJ, Amy currently lives in Bethlehem. When in Chester County, she enjoys spending time in downtown West Chester — particularly at Station 142 for their live music.

In her free time, Amy can most likely be found in a field playing ultimate frisbee, and her favorite song is "All My Love" by Noah Kahan. Another fun fact: she knows how to make balloon animals!

Erin

During Erin's summer internship at CCPC, she has been working within the Multimodal Transportation Planning Division: updating municipalities' schedules for Agricultural Security Area 7-Year Reviews; researching county and state policies and actions to consider for the county's Tree Canopy Plan; and reviewing comprehensive and open space plans to find potential projects for the Open Space Accelerator Program.

Erin is a West Chester native and hopes to make meaningful connections so that she can be better prepared for working in the planning field.

Her favorite place in Chester County is Longwood Gardens, and in her spare time, Erin can often be found kayaking at a local lake or gardening in her backyard.

A fun fact about Erin is that she minored in American Sign Language as an undergraduate. Her favorite quote comes from Morgan Harper Nichols' poem "Let July Be July": "You can still find peace and grow in the wild of changing things."

As their internships come to an end, we're very thankful for the valuable contributions Amy and Erin have made to CCPC, and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors!
